USA -(Ammoland.com)- The Michigan Department of Natural Resources reminds hunters that there is still time to make 2017 the hunt of a lifetime by applying for the Pure Michigan Hunt while purchasing deer licenses this season.

Three lucky Pure Michigan Hunt winners receive hunting licenses – including a prized elk license as well as bear, spring and fall turkey, and antlerless deer licenses – and first pick at a managed waterfowl hunt area, all to be used in the 2017 hunting season.

Along with the hunting licenses, each winner will receive the ultimate hunting prize package, valued at more than $4,000.

Applications are on sale until Dec. 31, and winners will be drawn randomly in January 2017.

Applications are $5 each, in unlimited quantities, and can be purchased at any license agent or online at E-License.

All three Pure Michigan Hunt winners have the flexibility to choose the hunt areas and times that best fit their schedules.

Winners also have the option to transfer a license to someone else.

Visit www.michigan.gov/pmh for more information and to purchase applications.
