Daniel Defense Omega AR Handguard Line Expands

Daniel Defense recently announced the expansion of its popular Omega line of handguards for AR-15 rifles. Moreover, which previously offered only Picatinny attachment, now adds both KeyMod and M-MOK attachment systems.

The Daniel Defense Omega line enables users to install the unit with provide Allen wrench. Further, the design requires no modifications to the weapon, an added bonus.

The Omega features an integral QD sling swivel mount with a rotation limiter and an uninterrupted upper rail platform, according to Daniel Defense. Additionally, Daniel Defense machines the Omega from aircraft grade aluminum and type III hard coat anodized. Further, the company builds each Omega Rail fastener to military specification. Also, the rail delivers customization with 7- and 9-inch length options.

The Omega rail line comes in several different configurations. In all, Picatinny, Key-Mod and M-LOK patterns are available. Additionally, the 7-inch models work with carbine-length gas systems. Meanwhile, the 9-inch models pair with mid-length gas systems. Retail prices range between $205 and $226.
