The CRKT Technician is a stoutly built multi-tool.

U.S.A.-(Ammoland.com)- A lot of you readers wanted another option for a multi-tool after the last multi-tool Product Review. After looking around I found one made by Columbia River Knife and Tool (CRKT) that is a stout looking unit. It is called the CRKT Technician.

The first thing that you’ll notice when you pull it out of the box is the weight. It weighs 11.8 oz. compared to a Leatherman Wave which is 8.5 oz., the CRKT is nearly ¼ lb. more. So, that’s why I say that it is stout.

I like the grip. It has a full-sized handle and a finger groove which I like. One word of caution though, if you have a small hand it may be a big handful for you to grip. Although I just had my wife test it out and she could grip it ok.

Let’s go over the tools it offers. To begin it has a blade which you would expect. As an extra bonus, the blade has a thumb stud to make it easier to open. But, the stud is located too close to the end so it doesn’t make it much easier …Read the Rest
