comcast rejects ad submitted by nra for outdoors show

One of the brief images in the ad that Comcast is “up in arms” over.

In another example of political correctness gone nonsensical, Comcast has ordered the NRA to remove guns, and gun images from its ads promoting the outdoors show in Pennsylvania.

The media giant says it will not air the ads until the images have been removed.

In an email to the NRA Comcast did not explain what was so offensive about the brief glimpse of guns in the ad, but simply stated that the organization must comply in order for the 2 ads to be aired.

According to washingtonexaminer.com,

“The good news is there are just some small tweaks that need to happen in order to run the schedules in all the markets we have set up for the Great American Outdoor Show,” said Comcast of the two ads the NRA wants to run in 12 different TV markets in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia.
