Chris Williamson, owner of Osseo Gun Club & Pro Shop in Osseo, Minnesota, has been denied the right to run advertisements for his family-friendly gun range’s upcoming “family night” event, reported Breitbart.

Comcast told him that they would only run his ad if he were to remove the word “gun” and the phrase “family night” from it, while Facebook denied his request because his shop sells guns.

“This is our life’s blood,” Williamson complained to reporters. “We’re trying to advertise, we’re trying to generate revenue, we’re trying to be sure people know that we’re here, and this is what we’re getting from Comcast and Facebook.”

As private businesses, Comcast and Facebook both reserve the right to engage in this sort of discrimination. Keep in mind, however, that Comcast has no problems airing extremely violent or perverse television shows and movies. Likewise, Facebook contains an inordinate quantity of filth.

Regardless, controversy is nothing new to Williamson. According to the Star Tribune, just his decision to open up the gun club ginned up plenty of controversy by itself back in 2013:
