California Cop Loses AR-15 After Placing on Trunk of Patrol Car

Deputies in Orange County, California are scouring the area in search of an AR-15 that a deputy reportedly left on the trunk of his car and then was distracted.

Police officials are not sure exactly where the rifle may have fallen off the trunk, but they are asking the public for help.

There is no word yet on what kind of disciplinary actions the deputy who lost the rifle will face.

So is this the “loophole” the anti-gunners have been talking about?
