A Shreveport man will be going to jail as quick as he gets out of the hospital. Police say 36-year-old Michael Kelly, of the 600 block of Springhill Avenue, was taken to University Health for treatment of multiple gunshot wounds early Tuesday afternoon. Once Kelly is released, police Cpl. Marcus Hines said, he’ll be booked into Shreveport City Jail on 1 count each of armed robbery, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and resisting an officer. He also has an outstanding warrant charging him with having no driver’s license.
