BREAKING: Multiple Shooting at Charleston, SC Church

“Police are responding to a report of a shooting at a Charleston (South Carolina) church. The incident happened at about 9 p.m. at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church on Calhoun Street in downtown Charleston, police said. Charleston police have not confirmed any information on victims.” Other reports indicated multiple victims and possible fatalities. South Carolinians are prohibited from carrying in a “church or other established religious sanctuary unless express permission is given by the appropriate church official or governing body.” More as it becomes available.
