Columbia, MO -(AmmoLand.com)- Battenfeld Technologies, Inc., an industry leading manufacturer of shooting, hunting, reloading, gunsmithing and gun cleaning supplies, announced today that it intends to acquire the assets of PowerTech, Inc., a leading manufacturer of tactical flashlights, universal LED lights and personal pocket lights designed for military, law enforcement and sporting enthusiasts.

As a licensee of Smith & Wesson, PowerTech, Inc., designs, manufactures, and distributes Smith & Wesson branded lighting products to retailers, wholesalers and consumers around the world. The Smith & Wesson flashlight line was created with military, law enforcement, hunting and other sporting enthusiasts in mind. Over time, the product line has expanded to include a number of additional products for every day carry and casual use.
