South Carolina-based American Tactical Imports is promising a new tricked out .22LR semi-auto hailing from Germany.
ATI, the U.S. importer and distributor for German Sport Guns GmbH, announced their new GSG-16 rifle this week. Outfitted with a 16-inch barrel that includes a faux suppressor and a retractable rear stock, the handy little carbine uses detachable 22- and 10-round magazines for which a storage slot is located in the stock. Other features include an ambi safety and charging handle, adjustable flip-up sights and a top Picatinny rail for optics.
GSG, formed in 2002 and based in Ense-Höingen, Germany, is known for their scaled-down .22LR chambered replicas of famous guns to include the StG44, MP40, and AK47.
The MSRP on the GSG-16 is set at $399 with availability “Late Spring 2019.”
