JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA — A 22-year-old man is behind bars after police say he shot into a vehicle after what he called a road rage incident.

Local news reports;

A St. Johns County man said he held a suspect at gunpoint after a car was shot up at a shopping center on Friday.

Justin Louque works at Tuffy Tire in the St. Johns County shopping center where the shooting happened.

Louque said he heard gunshots outside the store and saw the man with a gun.

“I told him to get on the ground without the gun,” Louque said. “I held him at gunpoint until police arrived.”

The suspect told Louque that the people he fired at were trying to run him off the road, and that they were assaulting him. He failed to see the error in his ways, even if he was originally the victim. Whether that’s true or not is anyone’s guess, but the charges against him seem pretty legit.

Two people showed up at the hospital with gunshot wounds, but their conditions are unknown as of this article.
