An AR-15-ish Carbine in .45 ACP? Show Me More!

In this video we take a first look at the Flint River Armory CSA45, a fairly new pistol caliber carbine chambered in .45 ACP. The CSA45 is an “AR styled,” rotating bolt, short stroke, gas piston operated firearm that can accept standard AR-15 fire control groups and grips. Gas is picked up about 1″ from the end of chamber and fed to short tappet style gas piston to cycle the action making for a very clean running system. The CSA45 does feed from proprietary magazines which may be a turn off for some, however Flint River developed their 25 rounds magazines to work reliably and efficiently with a rotating bolt design. Stay tuned guys, well have more coming out with the CSA45 in the future, much more to come.
