80 blocks of C4, Claymores found buried for years in Arizona (VIDEO)

The ATF is offering a $10,000 reward for help figuring out who buried a cache of demo charges and anti-personnel mines.
Unearthed last October by a construction crew in Pine near Strawberry, the explosives were found in plastic tubes buried about five feet underground. In all, the ATF cataloged 80 1.25-pound blocks of C4 plastic explosives in the form of M112 demolition charges, nine M18A1 Claymore anti-personnel mines with M57 firing device “clackers” and a roll of det cord.
The equipment was believed to have been there for the last 20 years and, as noted by ATF Special Agent John Durastanti, “They are obviously stolen.”
Those with information about the explosives are asked to contact the ATF at 1-888-283-8477 or send an email to [email protected]. Anonymous texts can be sent via the ReportIt mobile app, using the ATF Phoenix Field Division as the location.
