1 shot in early morning home invasion shooting

A resident living in a home in the 4000 block of 69th Street shot and killed an intruder just before 4 a.m. Police said the shooting happened inside the home. The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene. A second person who also lived in the home was shot and suffered minor injuries. They are expected to be OK. The suspect was not identified by police.
