USA – -( First, let me say it’s good to be back after missing last week’s column. It’s been a helluva past two weeks. I’m certain I don’t need to remind you of Irma as I’m pretty confident that you were subjected to the same hysterical media coverage I experienced.

Speaking of Irma, let me just get this out of the way right now.

I hate the media.

I hate the way the reporters inflect their voices when they deliver a story, I hate the 24-hour “news” cycle, and I hate the danger that they pose to the psyche of this nation. That danger was on full display when the wall to wall coverage of hurricane Irma began about three days before it struck. I have never heard anything like it in my years on this planet especially since being a broadcaster with an eye on the leftist press for nearly the past decade. Nothing. Comes. Close.
