PRESCOTT, Ariz.--(Ammoland.com)- Another Davidson’s Exclusive firearm resulting from a strong relationship with one of America’s most trusted manufacturers, Ruger, has hit the shelves. Davidson’s presents its new Exclusive, the Red Anodized Ruger 22/45 Lite Rimfire Pistol.

Largely inspired by the traditional 1911, the Ruger 22/45 Lite is a modernized pistol that is highly customizable and well-suited for the range. The 22/45 Lite is a lightweight version of the standard 22/45 with a ventilated aluminum upper receiver.

The Lite is nearly ten ounces lighter than the standard 22/45 weighing in at only 22.73oz compared to 32oz. Along with its picatinny rail, threaded muzzle for accessory additions, and 1911-sized interchangeable grip panels, the 22/45 Lite is available in 3 finishes for ultimate customization. The 22/45 Lite is available in Blue Anodized, Cobalt Anodized, and now exclusively from Davidson’s, Red Anodized.

The 22/45 Lite is shockingly similar to the classic 1911 with the magazine release, bolt catch, and manual safety all being located in the same position.
