Nikon recently announced the release of its newest line of hunting riflescopes, the Prostaff P3. Moreover, Nikon designed the Prostaff P3 to deliver optical performance and mechanical consistency over a lifetime of hard use.

Nikon Prostaff P3 Features

Firstly, the Prostaff P3 features a 3X zoom rational optical system, specifically designed to meet the needs of hunters, according to Nikon. The Prostaff P3 utilizes multiple layers of anti-reflective compounds to all glass surfaces. Further, these coatings help deliver bright, vivid pictures, optimum light transmission and maximum brightness in low light, according to Nikon.

Nikon claims the scope’s generous eye relief remains consistent throughout the zoom range. This feature protects shooters from recoil while also helping maintain proper cheek-weld during magnification changes, according to Nikon.

The Prostaff P3 features a one-inch tube. Meanwhile, Nikon constructs each scope from aircraft grade aluminum in the tube, turret caps, zoom rings and eyepiece focus rings.
