Cody, Wyo. (Ammoland.com) – Big Horn Armory, makers of big-bore firearms, are donating a Model 89 rifle to the Castle Shannon Volunteer Fire Department Fall Sportsmen’s Bash, to be held Sept. 8, 2018 at the Castle Shannon Memorial Hall in Castle Shannon, Pennsylvania. The bi-annual event is hosted by Allegheny Arms & Gun Works, Steel City Harley Davidson, and Pit Stop Rt. 88.

“For the CSVFD, these events are critical in raising funds for their operating budget and without this type of support from many of the vendors, these volunteer firemen would not be able to fully do their jobs of protecting their neighbors and neighborhood,” Greg Buchel, president of Big Horn Armory, said. “Pennsylvania has a long and strong history of hunting and the Sportsmen’s Bash is just one example of where thousands of local and regional people will come to show support for their traditional way of life and raise money for their public safety pros.”
