5.11 is easily the most well-known brand of tactical apparel out there. It’s often the go-to source for clothing that’s both durable enough for a gunfight while still looking appropriate walking around the mall with your family. Its distinctive styling also tends to single gun folks as part of the same “tribe”.

While 5.11 has made a lot of money from the tactical community–and not just from private citizens, but also law enforcement and military–they have proven they’re more than willing to give some back.

AAs an extension of the 5.11 Always Be Ready® brand campaign, 5.11 has donated $20,000 to the Navy SEAL Foundation from proceeds of the sale of its recently launched Defender-Flex Pants and Jeans. The Navy SEAL Foundation is supported by 5.11 brand ambassador Andy Stumpf, and helps provide immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare community, its families, the families of fallen NSW, wounded NSW, as well as transitioning NSW veterans.
