LaserLyte Supports Criminal Justice at University of Nebraska-Kearney
COTTONWOOD, Ariz. -(Ammoland.com)- LaserLyte, innovators in firearms laser technologies, proudly continues to support law enforcement and training with their support of several Criminal Justice classes at the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK).
College students in courses instructed by Professor Joe Carlson, Ph.D., use LaserLyte Laser Trainers and Targets in the classroom to study police reaction times in life threatening situations.
Evidence shows police have approximately 1.5 seconds to decide to shoot or not to shoot when confronted by an assailant at 21 feet or less.
Equipped with LaserLyte Trainers and Targets, college students got to see first hand if they were able to make the tough decision to use deadly force or not.
