So, if it’s not broken, don’t fix it as she goes after whitetails and muleys on the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota during the rut. The Rosebud Reservation is approximately one million acres of prime hunting grounds in southern South Dakota. The wide-open space means the perfect opportunity to use decoys. “I wasn’t going to put a decoy out, but this is a great location. Later during the hunt, I discovered I was bringing in big muleys with my whitetail decoy. I had no idea that would work, but glad it did as it made the hunt even more fun,” said Bachman.
