TURKEY TAKEN AT 105 YARDS WITH A BOW!
By George
As if bow hunting gobblers isn’t hard enough, John Dudley took a tom with his Hoyt at 105 YARDS! This is absolutely incredible. I’ve been bow hunting turkey for a long time, but the only way I’m hitting one at 105 yards is with a rifle (DISCLAIMER: I never have and never will hunt turkey with a rifle).
The slow motion replay is where you really get an appreciation for how difficult a shot this was. The arrow is almost completely vertical at the time of impact! And how about that blood trail? This was very impressive, but I would not advise the rest of us non-super humans attempting this…
