Obama Gets New Surgeon General, America Loses

Obama has gotten his wish from the lame duck senate as they confirmed Vivek Murthy to the office of Surgeon General of the United States. The Surgeon General is the chief medical officer for the country and as such has a solid background in the practice of medicine. The new Surgeon General is 37 years old and just finished his residency a few years ago. He has very little actual experience practicing real medicine.
