Portion of Sales of Book “ABCs of North American Big Game” to Benefit DEF

Dallas, TX -(AmmoLand.com)- OutdoorIQ, publisher of educational outdoor books for children and youth, has partnered with the Dallas Ecological Foundation to promote reading and outdoor activities through one of its newest titles, “ABCs of North American Big Game.”

As part of the partnership, a portion of the book’s sales will go to support the Dallas Ecological Foundation. The partnership is part of a national initiative called, “ABC Books for Hunting Heritage and Angling Legacy,” in which OutdoorIQ partners with national conservation organizations to publish new, high-interest books extolling the virtues of conservation and participation in outdoor activities.

OutdoorIQ has partnered with seven major conservation groups as part of the initiative with each book aligning to the conservation focus of its respective benefitting organization.

The Dallas Ecological Foundation’s (DEF) largest sponsor is the Dallas Safari Club (DSC). DEF’s mission is to teach outdoor education, as well as promote and fund conservation of wildlife worldwide. In 2015, DEF curriculum was taught in more than 250 schools reaching more than 123,000 student participants.
