Yeah, So Much for That Bloomberg Report about CT

Or Not. relative to the article Living In New England’s Murder Capital [at courant.com, behind pay wall]. Seems the gun control paradise known as the Constitution State is having some problems with “gun violence.” Here’s the money shot . . .

I woke up recently to the reality of being a resident, voter and taxpayer in the murder capital of New England, Hartford, with Springfield, Mass., the city in which I currently pastor, a distant second. On Aug. 1 of this year, Hartford reached its 20th homicide with the killing of a 25-year-old man in front of the church I formerly pastored. My son, Shane, was the 20th victim in Hartford in 2012, on Oct. 20. We are in the dog days of August and already there are 21 homicides.
