Yamaha Outdoor Access Initiative Grants More Than $130,000 in 2nd Quarter

KENNESAW, Ga. – -(AmmoLand.com)- Yamaha Motor Corp., USA, the powersports leader in supporting outdoor recreation, today announces the Yamaha Outdoor Access Initiative (OAI) awarded more than $130,000 in funds and equipment to 11 grant applicants in the second quarter of 2018.
In the past decade, the Yamaha Outdoor Access Initiative granted more than $3.5 million supporting the program’s mission of guaranteeing responsible access to land for outdoor recreation, staking a clear claim in the powersports industry as the unprecedented leader in supporting those who work and play outdoors.
Projects funded this past quarter support opportunities for a variety of off-highway vehicle (OHV) enthusiasts, including those using ATVs, Side-by-Side (SxS) vehicles, motorcycles and snowmobiles for outdoor recreation enjoyment.
