One woman walked away unharmed from the mass shooting at a country music concert in Las Vegas Sunday night, but her pink iPhone apparently stopped a bullet that may have otherwise hit her.
According to local reports, the woman showed the damaged cell phone to a taxi cab driver as she left the scene of the shooting. Photos showing the incredible image have since circulated around the Internet.
While the device is no longer usable, the woman was left uninjured… with one heck of a reminder of just how lucky she is.
Fifty-nine people were killed during the shooting and almost 500 injured before the gunman, who fired on the outdoor concert from the windows of a 32nd floor hotel room, turned the gun on himself, taking his own life. Authorities are still unclear of the suspect’s motive.
