Wisconsin Home Invader Dies In Menominee County

A trio of young adult males targeted an home in Mellen township in Menominee County Wisconsin yesterday, either thinking the home was unoccupied, or that they could surprise and overpower the homeowner.

They were wrong on both counts.

Police are investigating a home break-in where a man was shot and killed after he and two other men broke into a home in Mellen Township Monday morning.

According to the Menominee County Sheriff’s Office, at 4:59 a.m. the 62-year-old homeowner heard the men breaking in and dialed 911 before defending himself against the intruders.
