Winchester offered its support to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks and the Foundation of the Mississippi, Fisheries and Parks to bring a new public shooting facility to residents.
The McIvor Shooting Facility, located near Sardis, Mississippi on the Charles Ray Nix Wildlife Management Area, is set to open its doors in early April, providing the public with a state-of-the-art range. The facility will include spots for shotgun, rifle, pistol and archery.
The McIvor Shooting Facility’s standout features include:

15-station sporting clay range
Two skeet ranges, with a trap range overlaid in each
Five-stand range “Duck Flush”
100- and 300-yard rifle ranges
Pistol range
3D archery range
Pro shop and golf cart rental

Last week MDWFP hosted its first tournament at McIvor Shooting Facility for the Mississippi Scholastic Shooting Program (MSSP). McIvor is planned to open in April of 2019.
