Wilson Combat rolls out Ranger AR Rifle series

Wilson Combat debuts a new set of rifles, the Ranger AR series, which combines the company’s lightweight billet receiver set to the Ranger match grade barrel.
The combination lends itself to a fast-handling AR setup that Wilson Combat says is perfectly suited for tactical, defense or hunting. The Ranger comes equipped with a M-LOK rail in addition to a Tactical Trigger Unit and Wilson-SLR click adjustable gas block. The series comes in two models — the Ranger and Ultralight Ranger.

The Ranger is chambered in a variety of calibers to include 5.56 NATO, 6.8 SPC, .300 Blackout, .243 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 WIN, .358 WIN and 7.62×40 WT. Barrel length is dependent on caliber, but on the short end serves up 14-inches, topping out at 16-inches. The 8-pound rifle boasts an overall length of 33.5-inches collapses and 36.5-inches fully extended.
The Ultralight Ranger rocks a 7-pound build chambered in 5.56 NATO, 6.8 SPC, .300 Blackout, .243 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 WIN, .358 WIN, 7.62×40 WT with a 14.7-inch or 16-inch barrel depending on caliber. Overall length on the Ultralight
