Hickok45′s fans and subscribers were shocked to discover when they logged onto YouTube Wednesday morning that the popular firearm-toting channel had been shut down for “repeated violations of Google’s policies.”

Hickok45, a YouTube channel, is run by Greg Kinman. The channel features segments following Kinman as he shoots from a vast array of firearms on his homemade range, according to Guns.com. The videos are filmed by Kinman’s son, John, and at the time of the channel’s abrupt termination, Hickok45 had amassed nearly 2 million subscribers, the Tribunist reported. The channel featured both Kinman and his son as they offered their opinions on the guns they examined and shot on the range.

After he discovered the channel’s mysterious shut-down, Hickok45′s Facebook page released this statement:

Apparently, Google + is more sensitive about firearms related postings and such. I never use Google+ and did not even realize the videos were being posted over there, I guess.
