Western, Wildlife Art Coming Again to Fort Robinson, Nebraska
Nebraska -(Ammoland.com)- Beautiful scenes of the West will again be on display at the 42nd annual Western & Wildlife Art Show at Fort Robinson State Park.
The juried show, a traditional part of Crawford’s annual Fourth of July celebration, will be Wednesday through Saturday, July 1-4, at the park’s historic Veterinary Building.
The work of about two dozen artists — featuring subjects such as landscapes, animals, ranchers, cowboys and Native Americans — will be available for viewing and purchase. The show will be open free of charge from 7-9 p.m. on July 1, from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. onJuly 2-3, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 4.
The public will help kick off the event July 1 at 6 p.m. with a dinner outside the Veterinary Building. The dinner program will include introductions of the artists and music by Pat Mead of Milo, Iowa. The price is $8 for adults and $4 for children. No reservations are required.
