Weaver announces Premium MSR Mount for rifle platform

Optics and mounting system maker Weaver officially launched its latest series of optics mounts, introducing the Premium MSR Mount on Wednesday.
The Premium Modern Sporting Rifle Optics Mount is designed specifically for the MSR platform and is compatible with Savage Arms’ new MSR.
Boasting an anodized Type III hardcoat black matte finish, the mount sets optics at the ideal height, with a forward cantilever for MSRs. In addition, edges are slightly radiused to prevent snagging.
Lightweight, yet durable the mount is constructed from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and weighs in at just 6 ounces. Available in 1-inch, 30mm and 34mm options, the models feature double recoil lugs to lock mounts into place. The system also provides Torx head screws with three oversized #25 Torx crossbolts with steel threaded inserts.
Available from select dealers, the mounts 1-inch and 30mm mounts offer a price tag of $119.95 while the 34mm mount features a price of $129.95.
