A Bossier City Police officer shot and killed a woman who advanced wielding scissors.

Dilley Police shot and killed a man in Texas after a wild fast draw that proved to be life or death for the officer. In what started as questioning quickly turned deadly when a suspect attempted to get the draw on the officer, remarkably pulling a shotgun from inside the waistband. But the Texas officer proved quicker out of the holster, ending the threat.

Dilley Police Face Intense Encounter

The incident began when officers attempted to locate gunfire heard during the early morning hours, according to kens5.com. Two officers responded to a local city par, where they approached a man sitting at a picnic table in the dark.

Officers begin talking and questioning the suspect, identified as 25-year-old Juan Luna. After a brief exchange, where Luna claims he’s just smoking and didn’t hear any gunfire, officers see the man printing and demand to see his hands. That’s when the scene turns deadly, in a mere instant.

Instead of showing his hands, officer body cam footage shows Luna begin pulling a 20-gauge shotgun from inside his pants.
