Was This Voter Fraud In North Carolina?

A friend of mine was livid and texted me just over an hour ago (precisely 4:16 PM ET) after witnessing apparent voter fraud.

She had just voted in the small town of Fuquay-Varina, NC, a bedroom community south of of Raleigh, NC. The polling place was the Fuquay-Varina Community Center on SW Judd Parkway and Main St.

Directly ahead of her in line were a special needs male and his female caregiver.

The caregiver gave the name and address of the special needs male, and he was given a paper ballot (North Carolina does not require voter ID).

My friend witnessed her take him to a voting booth. As he stood there and stared into space, she filled out the paper ballot with a black ink pen. My friend pointed at them and asked the people in charge of voting directly, “is that right?”

They looked, but did nothing.

The special needs man’s ballot, which he only touched to accept it and was filled out by his female caregiver, was accepted and “his” ballot, which he did not fill out, was counted.
