Cody, Wyoming is home to Big Horn Armory who makes a really stout lever-action rifle in .500 S&W Magnum.
BHA crafts a number of these modern cowboy guns, with their Model 89 Spikedriver, based on the old school Model 1886 and Model 1892 Winchesters, but providing a modern platform in 17-4 stainless steel with an 18-inch barrel.
It’s not cheap (think $2K in the basic set-ups) but Hickok45 really likes it in the above video. When coupled with the hard-hitting 5-Hundo, “it’s a serious piece of hardware, no doubt about it,” he says.
