Virginia Attorney General Herring pushes for Universal Background Checks

Virginia –-(AmmoLand.com)- The Virginia Attorney General, Mark Herring, has recently sent out an email on gun control.

Herring, who is beholden to Michael Bloomberg and various gun-control groups, is pushing a petition (and fundraiser, I’m sure) on Universal Background Checks (UBCs).

He’s using fabricated statistics to infringe on the rights of gun owners.

Herring knows UBCs don’t work and that all they are is a gun registration scheme!

Notice how he pushes the lie that 94% of all Virginians want UBCs. He also says,:

“Yet Republican lawmakers still do nothing to reduce gun violence,” while not mentioning that the Governor vetoed Republican bills that would have provided real safety to those with Protective Orders and also provided free gun-training to victims of domestic violence!

Recent polling shows that Virginians overwhelmingly favor universal background checks, with 94% of respondents supporting them! That is not a typo. Even 90% of Republicans favor universal background checks.

Yet Republican lawmakers still do nothing to reduce gun violence.
