Covington, VA -(Ammoland.com)- We need people to show up for two committee meetings today and tomorrow.

Dennis O’Connor or I will have GSL stickers for you to wear and you don’t have to speak in front of the committees if you don’t want to:

WEDNESDAY

Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 20, after 1 PM there will be a meeting of the Senate Courts of Justice committee in Senate Room B – many important gun bills will be heard:

• SB 48, Senator Black, STRONGLY SUPPORT, Constitutional Carry bill!

• SB 95, Senator Marsden, STRONGLY OPPOSE, allows a person to be sued if the don’t “adequately” store their firearm and it is stolen and used in a crime.

• SB175, Senator Stuart, STRONGLY SUPPORT, prevents CHP data from being shared with any state that doesn’t honor a Virginia CHP.

• SB 185, Senator Marsden, STRONGLY OPPOSE, prohibits the carrying of a firearm loaded with more than 10 rounds in a magazine or has a threaded barrel in a public place.

• SB 186, Senator Marsden, STRONGLY OPPOSE, restricts the number of courses that qualify to get a CHP.

• SB 187, Senator Marsden, STRONGLY OPPOSE, requires a special permit to be able to purchase a firearm.
