wilson combat 458 hamr rifle

“In the name of research and development,” Wilson Combat just showed off its new .458 HAM’R Carbine in the most spectacular of ways: Firing in slow-mo and destroying a pig’s head.

Wilson touts its new .458 HAM’R as the “hardest hitting, most powerful AR carbine ever produced.” Wilson say the carbine has more punch than the .450 Bushmaster, .458 SOCOM and .50 Beowulf.

Watching it in action, destroying targets ranging from pumpkins to the aforementioned pig’s head, shows the power.

For the record, the pig was dead ahead of time. As Wilson notes, “No animals were harmed for the sole purpose of making this video.” Knowing all of that, the shot is still incredible.

The .458 HAM’R Carbine is available in two versions: the Tactical Hunter and Ultimate Hunter. Specs for both can be found below.
