Using binary targets always adds risk to the equation, especially shooting those targets from a short distance and they’re strapped to what eventually becomes an exploding fridge.

Shooter Avery Ball almost learned the hard way when he reportedly used a “binary target marking compound” to blow up his fridge. In a video posted on his Facebook page last week, the Ohio resident is seen very narrowly avoided the fridge’s door, which flew out of the explosion at an incredibly high speed.

It’s unclear exactly what compounds were used in the shoot.
