U.S. Army snipers’ lives depend on a lot of factors, perhaps the most important of which is staying hidden.

Staff Sgt. Brian Moran, an instructor at the U.S. Army Sniper Course, recently discussed techniques snipers use to remain concealed during operations.

“Sniper School is a very important school, not just to us, but to the entire military as a whole,” Moran says. “It fills a very important role that allows units to expand their reach well beyond front lines.”
