Victory Over NO Guns Signs in Ramsey County, NM

Minnesota – -(Ammoland.com)- When we launched the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus in December, we mentioned that, where necessary, we would take legal action to defend and expand upon the constitutional rights of gun owners in Minnesota.

We’ve allowed out of control local government units to abridge our Second Amendment for far too long.

Shortly after our launch, we began pursuing an issue in Ramsey County, Minnesota, where the county elections division had decided to unlawfully post all polling places in Ramsey County, excluding lawfully carried firearms being carried by a citizen under MN 624.714, the Minnesota Citizen’s Personal Protection Act.

This action by Ramsey County was illegal – because Minnesota Statutes specifically prohibit any entity other than the state legislature from regulating firearms in general, and specifically prohibits other governmental units from abridging the right to carry a firearm.

Incredibly, when approached about this violation, Ramsey County refused to budge from their position!
