A Halloween display outside of a North Las Vegas home referencing the Oct. 1 massacre was removed Wednesday after it garnered criticism from some people.
A photo of the display circulated social media Tuesday night, leading to its removal the following day. The display, which was illuminated by flood lights, featured a fake cemetery with 58 headstones, American flags, and a large #vegasstrong banner.
The display was called disrespectful and tasteless by some, but others said they thought it was meant to honor the victims of the Route 91 Harvest Festival and not cause controversy or otherwise show disrespect.
