UTG Pro announces dovetail scope rings for POI series

UTG Pro enters 2018 with the introduction of a new dovetail series of Precision Optics Interface scope rings.
Constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum, the POI dovetail rings are finished in a matte black anodize. Offered in 1-inch and 30mm diameters, the POI ships with the 2-piece ring set, each with 4 Top Torx screws.

The snag-free POI rings are progressively machined to offer a precise inner ring surface. This design provides for a better ring-to-scope interaction. In addition, the low profile locking slide plate is controlled by dual spring loaded guide rods to deliver a tight fit on a variety of dovetail rails and receivers, UTG Pro says.
A Torx screw locks the side plate into place providing for a repeatable zero. UTG says when paired with its threaded recoil stop pin, an additional level of retention is achieved mitigating movement caused by recoil.
The POI dovetail series slide into the market at just under $60.
