USA – -(Ammoland.com)-Despite anti-gunners trying mightily to disparage the idea of “the good guy with a gun” as a “myth,” or as one “study” charged, a factor leading to even more “gun violence,” reality keeps showing them for the agenda-driven liars they are. While it’s no doubt true “mass shootings” are thankfully rare, defensive gun uses are well documented, both statistically, and anecdotally through “armed citizen” stories that make it through the news.

The corollary to that, again something the antis try desperately to deny, is that high profile mass shootings often happen in so-called “gun-free zones,” like Littleton, Virginia Tech, Sandy Hook and the Pulse nightclub. And hysteria over “guns on campus” notwithstanding, the most notable example from pre-hoplophobic times showed how responsible armed citizens kept more people from getting slaughtered.
