Tuffy Under Rear Seat Lockbox Secures Firearms in Pickup Trucks

Tuffy Security Products recently announced the addition of the Toyota Tundra Double Cab to its line of 313 Under Rear Seat Lockbox designs. The storage system secures firearms and equipment within a growing line of pickup truck models. The boxes accommodate long guns and other tactical gear used by law enforcement personnel.

Tuffy Under Rear Seat Lockboxes use the existing OEM mounting hole. However, they in no way interfere with passenger comfort, according to Tuffy. These boxes match the full width of the factory split seat design, and conveniently provide access to the short or long side of the seat. The box’s chamfered front corners allow unhindered passenger access to the back seat. Meanwhile, it maintains quick access to the seat release leavers. The stealthy design keeps the boxes and their contents hidden from view.

Tuffy Products Under Rear Seat Lockboxes

The under-seat boxes utilize 16-gauge steel construction, black textured and power coated. Each features welded tab-loc construction. It features a pick-resistant 10-tumbler, double-bitted lock. An exclusive Pry-Guard latch mechanism allows the cover to shut without locking. Meanwhile, a Pin-Lock hinge and built-in lid stop adds to the features.
