Trijicon has been awarded a contract to supply U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) with handgun reflex sights as part of its Miniature Aiming System – Day Optics program.

Under the terms of the award, the Michigan-based optics maker will receive $7,626,587 over a five-year period for an unidentified handgun reflex sight, which is described as a “”low profile, wide field of view, passive sight for rapid day and night pistol target engagements in confined spaces, while prisoner handling, or in extremis after the primary weapon malfunctions.”

This is a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. Work is expected to be wrapped up by August of 2023. The contracting activity is NSWC Crane.
