The new show, from the makers of Top Shot, is looking for those with the background and ability to recreate impressive precision shots. As such they have an open casting call for “seasoned snipers and skilled long-range marksmen,” for a new series.
“On each episode of this exciting, new show, our hosting team will meet a member of the armed forces or law enforcement with an amazing story of marksmanship and attempt to recreate their incredible shot on camera,” says the call by the Pilgrim Media Group, a Lionsgate company.
Those interested will have to be over 18, a U.S. resident, can’t be a candidate for a political office, must be willing to undergo a host of physical and psychological exams and (the worst part) be available to travel to Los Angeles for on-camera testing in June.
Besides Top Shot, which ran on the History Channel for five seasons, Pilgrim has produced American Chopper, Dirty Jobs, Fast N’ Loud, Garage Rehab, Ghost Hunters and others, principally for the Discovery Channel. The new sniper show is planned for a “major cable network.”
Those interested should head over to the posting here.
