Working on a clean surface is not only a good idea, it is essential for keeping track of all the tiny parts you remove from your gun. Armorers commonly use dedicated mats to keep everything tidy and in their place.

Guntec’s neoprene cleaning and assembly mat comes in a desert tan color. The surface features a white-outlined illustration of an exploded view of an AR-15.
