Rochester, NY. Phone calls, meetings, notes, meetings, three trips to the coffee pot and one to the jon. Talk to Casey in production, then to Julie in procurement and get back on the phone to try call an endless list of perspective customers. You stop only briefly to catch your breath from the time you get to work to the time you leave. But for all the work you are doing, you have not left your desk. Despite being fairly immobile you feel exhausted by the time you get home and lounge around watching the evening news. With slight variations to this description, this is my day. Even at a young age, I’ve found myself wheeling and dealing the desk jockey life. Between sales and writing, my time budget is limited and find myself needing to get creative to stave off the health threats of the desk life to maximize my outdoor adventures.
